The picture shows how unsafe this item is!!! When I child is big enough to be without a booster the lap portion of the belt should be across the lap and hips, not the stomach like the girl's belt in the picture. If an adjuster is needed in a regular seat, then a booster should still be used.

This product is intended to be used to position a seat belt to fit a child correctly while the child is sitting in the regular seat. It is not intended for use with a booster seat. Reviews based on use with a booster seat are incorrect.

I bought this adjustor for my son's booster seat so the seatbelt was properly positioned on his shoulder. The only problem is that the clip that the seatbelt slides through did not keep the belt inside and so, defeated the purpose of using it! I would not recommend this especially since I read that if you need to use an adjustor then the booster probably isn't the right one for your child to begin with.
