I am a "research-aholic" in general and have researched many different baby products over the past 5 years due to being a mother of 3 and wanting to get the best for the price and not wanting to settle for less... I live in the Northeast US, so it gets really cold and the weather changes frequently and in extremes on a daily, if not hourly basis. After a full winter in Wisconsin with almost daily use, I have to say this thing is a life saver. I'm sure there are better ones out there, but it covered my baby's car seat super well! I have the Chicco car seat and this fit well. My baby is a little smaller, but the way this thing fits over her head isn't entire how it's pictured on Amazon. Her head and a large portion of her torso can be seen through the hole, so the wind still kind of howls into this thing. I put a blanket over the portion that isn't covered and she is happy. The hood of the car seat doesn't quite cover the sides, but it still works out fine for those in between times with cold wind from when I transfer her from shopping car to car and elsewhere. I think for the price, the functionality and warmness of this pouch is wonderful.

I received mine as a gift and I love it, it fits snug around my Chicco car seat, and keeps my baby nice and warm when carrying her to and from the car.
