Summary: not so great 2008-10-16
Comment: I agree with other reviews about the tray being a little difficult to put on. It takes a few tries to get it right. I dont use the tray anymore because I feel like I'm squishing my toddler. The other thing I dont like about it is the straps, they are so short. I need to buy another booster for my 2nd son but I'm definitely not buying this one

Summary: Not too bad! 2008-09-02
Comment: I have this booster to use when we go to family functions or places where there will not be a highchair available, it attached very securely to any chair it's light, and has a nice strap to use to cary it, comes apart nicely and cleans easily, the only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the tray is very hard to get on and off it snaps on but you have to push extremely hard and try to keep your childs hands out of the way, but for the price it works for the short time you will need it.

Summary: DON'T BUY THIS! 2008-04-01
Comment: Not only is the tray nearly impossible to get on and off, but it's a safety issue, as well. My nine month old began to choke and I needed to get her out of the chair quickly - and couldn't. Luckily, she was okay, but I'm afraid to use the chair anymore. Also, if your child has even slightly chunky thighs or a thick waist this won't work for you. The tray sits really low on their legs and pinches and I can't even get the seatbelt to buckle around her waist (it's not long enough). My daughter is only in the 75th percentile for her age - so she's not that big.

Summary: LOVE this, in spite of the tray challenges 2008-01-03
Comment: I agree that the tray took some practice, but now that we've mastered it, we absolutely love it. I can now snap the tray on and off accurately in about a second, but it did take some practice. Once you realize you're not going to break anything by just pressing really firmly, you get used to it and can easily line it up for the right setting, and you can have every confidence that it's secure. We love the portability and we take it everywhere; once my daughter outgrew her regular high chair, we also started using this as our everyday booster seat at the table at home. I'm about to buy a second one for our 6-month old! It's probably the best $20 I've spent on a kid item.

Summary: Impossible-to-attach Tray 2007-09-30
Comment: My 10-month old recent tried an older model booster chair at a friend's and I thought it would be a great thing to have when visiting relatives, etc. My friend's chair was a Safety First product, and I thought this would be the same/similar to the older model that we tried at her house -- wrong! She must have something like the Safety First Grow With Me Portable Booster Seat, because the model that I purchased (featured here) has an *impossible* tray that I cannot attach. I have tried several times and have succeeded only twice. I am 5'4" 110 lbs and I had to apply MAXIMUM force to get the tray to snap in -- I cannot imagine performing this task while my hungry child sits in the seat! I am *really* disappointed. I plan to return this featured chair to the store today. Safety First really needs to re-examine the snap-in design of this tray...
