We have the Britax Marathon and we have to lift up the fabric to get it to stay and even at that it is VERY easy to some off regardless of how we tighten it (Marathon has thick seat sides and the shape of the carseat side makes it hard for this product to work on it. I think it would work great on a different carseat perhaps but NOT the Britax Marathon...
Probably will be selling this on Ebay...again great idea and would be a great product IF it fits your seat! 11 of 11 people found the following review helpful: Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Safefit Snack Pod, Grey (Baby Product) I bought this to use on my daughter's carseat (Britax marathon.) It was ok while it lasted. My husband somehow broke the plastic arm that goes over the carseat right before we took off for a weekend road trip. I was dissapointed. It needs to be much more durable, it only lasted about a month. Maybe if that part was reinforced with metal or something it would be more durable. 4 of 4 people found the following review helpful: This review is from: Safefit Snack Pod, Grey (Baby Product) Got this the same day we bought our Joovy Kooper. There are only a few options for snack trays with no belly bar. This one works really well and comes with 2 snack bowls and lids. The red knob opens and shuts the clamp which you can get very tight (Just make sure the knob is facing away from the child)
It attaches to strollers, car seats, shopping carts, etc. We only use it on our stroller. (In car seats I don't let her snack because I'm worried if she chokes I won't be able to help her in time) This is a very sturdy design, my only negative that younger children may have trouble reaching both pods since one requires them to reach outside the stroller. Overall it works perfectly for us. |
