I'm going to be as fair and as objective as possible with this review so other parents know exactly what they are getting before they decide to purchase this booster or not. This is honestly an excellent car seat with very high ratings from the insurance institute of traffic safety, so why did we send it back? And would not recommend it to most people? The reason is simple - design. Not that it's a bad design, it's actually very very good IF you are in the market niche that Recaro targets with their products and marketing. Here's what I mean. Recaro makes the very best car chairs for high end sports cars and race cars. They have a very high profile brand in their industry with automotive enthusiasts. We also have the Parkway (Britax). The Recaro construction is way solider and the fabric is much nicer and more durable.
