The Maxi Cosi Mico Footmuff is an insulated baby bunting that keeps your baby warm, and coordinates perfectly with the Maxi Cosi Mico infant carseat. This Footmuff fits in the Mico carrier without interfering with the carseat's security harness. The upper portion of the shell unzips completely, allowing you to remove it and leave the padded lower half in place during the warmer months. This option also makes it easier to get your baby in and out of the seat. To top it all off, it has a cap that slips around your baby's head with drawstrings for a snug fit. The Maxi Cosi Mico Infant Car Seat Footmuff has a synthetic filling and a cotton outer shell.

Summary: Well made, but too warm for some babies 2009-08-14
Comment: I loved the concept of this and it's a big reason why I bought this car seat, but my baby is a very, very warm natured kid. This muff is great if you are going to be keeping your infant outside (which you most likely won't be) but to have in the car, even to have it unzipped and open in the front, it was still too warm against her back. I had to return it and just used layered blankets, which were easy to take on and off in the car to adjust to the temperature inside and outside in a flash. Otherwise, this is a great concept and was very well made, felt comfortable, etc.... it's just too hot.
