Since I live in Texas, I am battling both the sun and heat. This cover is perfect because it's thin and covers the entire car seat. When our infant gets a little older, we can use sunblock, but for now we use this on all of our outdoor walks. I can even open one velcro spot to peak in on our little one. I highly recommend if you are looking for something thin, breathable, and covers the whole carseat (ours is a chicco keyfit).

I love my JJ Cole canopy. It serves such a good purpose. Before, with my 1st baby,I used to always use a blanket to cover the car seat to block the sun or wind etc. It was a pain to fix it just right to cover all sides & angles to protect the baby and there were even times it would get blown off. With the JJ Cole Canopy, you don't have to worry about the wind. once it's on, it's ON. All you have to do is velcro all the little pieces together once baby is inside the car seat & you are ready to go! Also, I have the Evenflo Discovery 5 Infant car seat... the rainbow shape part that everyone uses to carry the car seat, mine is not shaped like that. It has a zigzag to it to make it easier to carry. Well, the Canopy is NOT made to fit this carseat, but it still fits & works well.
