Before purchasing this I had one that was fabric for a second carseat. This one it plastic and slippery. I don't feel safe using it with a booster. I use it under the 5 pt harness carseat because it can get it very tight. I like the fabric one better because crumbs stick to it better instead of just slipping off into the crack of the seat. I use it because I have it but would not purchase again.

This goes under the car seat, so it does protect your vehicle seat well. It's pretty plastic-y feeling, I don't like that. The mesh on the pockets can snag if you put a toy in there that has en edge (a little motorcycle we have did that). But overall, it does the job and gives a little space for a few toys that we keep in the van.
