I'm a first time mom but this car seat and base are awesome! It's easy to carry, easy to buckle my little one in, and easy to snap in and remove from the base in the back of a car. I did some research on safety and this seat passed my standards. The only bad thing is that it's missing the matching stroller! Babies R Us said that it just hadn't made it to the stores yet, but I couldn't even find it on Graco's website. It's not a major concern to be matchy matchy but it would be nice to have it all the same. We are looking into the basic snugride stroller that fits any car seat now. Problem is that it won't be useful once the kiddo is out of the baby car seat! Hope this helps!

This is a great and very safe car seat. It is the top of line in safety. I have had my 5 month old son in it sine we brought him home. The only reason why I'm giving it 4 stars is because the shade/hood sometimes drops way down below the car seat when you have it clipped into the stroller. It's easy to just pull right back up into position but is annoying when your already walking and have to stop to fix it. The other thing is that the fabric is not very breatheable. If you live in a cold climate you probably wont have any problems. My son was born in November, so we didn't notice at first because it was cool. But now it's pushing 85-90 degrees here in FL and my son sweats within the first few minutes of being in the car seat! I know that they were trying to make the material wipeable, but at the same time it should also be a little more breathable if possible!

I love this car seat it's very functional and safe for our newborn, plus the pattern is super cute. My only complaint is that because it is for 35 pounds it is wider than most other car seats meaning if we are at a restaurant and we use their highchairs to hold the seat (standard restaurant highchair flipped upside down for an infant seat) it will not fit so either we have to place the car seat in a chair which is unsafe or on the table which takes up too much room. Also in some shopping carts it won't connect or like the highchairs it is too wide to sit in the cart itself.
