MY EVALUATION (briefly)
As the parent of... quite a few kids and having used at least half a dozen different car seats over the years (counting the booster seats) I feel that I can state with confidence that this one - My Ride 65 - is way up there when it comes to design, quality and, equally important, safety.
I won't say that this is the best car seat your money can buy because deciding which one is better when comparing largely similar product can be subjective but I can say that the product is worth the money spent because the seat is meant to 'grow' with your kid and it supports children up to 65 lbs. It's unlikely that you will need another for your kid as he/she grows.

Overall, I'm well satisfied with this MyRide65, and I'd be likely to choose it again if I had to replace a car seat at this point. For reference, we're using it with a petite two-year-old in an older (no LATCH system) Audi A4, installed forward-facing with a seatbelt. There's a lot to like about the car seat, but enough minor cons that I'm giving it only 4 stars.
Pros:
-I'm no technician, but the Safety Surround features, head rest, and ability to rear-face up to 40 pounds make me feel confident as a parent.
- As a convertible that fits rear facing 4-40 pounds and forward-facing 20-65 pounds, this is versatile and will minimize the number of other seats/boosters you'll need to buy.
- It's convenient to loosen and tighten the harness on the child once the car seat is installed.
-The Nico pattern is attractive, gender-neutral, and looks great in our black car interior. (Unlike the picture, though, it does have a large yellow and black safety reminder...Read more
