Summary: Very narrow.... 2008-08-18
Comment: I needed a narrow booster seat for my Ford Explorer. This is the ONLY seat I could find that fit in the middle seat without blocking the other seat belts. My kids are very small (5yr old weighs 34lbs!) so if you have normal to chucky kids this seat may not be very comfortable.

Summary: Perfect for Carpooling! 2007-11-15
Comment: I purchased this specific seat because I can use it for carpooling -- it fits in the back of my station wagon, in between two regular car seats (a Britax & Evenflo). It is very narrow, but can be adjusted so it becomes wider when needed. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I haven't used it yet with the back.

Summary: Great seat for carpooling 2007-09-05
Comment: I love this seat for carpooling. This is the only seat that will fit in my narrow backseat between my regular booster and carseat.

Customer Rating: 4 Star
Summary: Pleased so far, for the most part 2007-03-12
Comment: At age 5, our son finally broke the 40 lb barrier, and it was time to look for booster seats. We've had the Fisher Price car seats since he was 6 months old (I don't recall the style name, but I believe it has since been discontinued), and we were so happy with them! In fact, our son was disappointed that he was going to have to "give up" his car seats. Naturally, having been so pleased with them, I began looking for a Fisher Price booster seat.

After a weekend of use, I rated it 4 stars for something that may be a problem with our car, and also myself, but not being sure, I wasn't ready to dole out 5 stars. First, it is hard to fasten the seatbelt. Again, this may be just the way our seatbelts are in the car, but it is all but impossible for my son to do it himself, and it is awkward for me or my husband to do it, also, from the outside of the car, because the part you buckle into wants to slide down into the seat. This is probably a "flaw" I would have to live with no matter which seat we chose, but it has been a little frustrating. The other issue is that the cup holder didn't stay on well. It may be that I didn't have it on correctly (though I thought I did), or maybe it just got bumped or something during the weekend, but we dumped out a cup of (thankfully) water when the cup holder accidently dislodged. I would just remove the cupholders altogether, but they will be convenient (if they work) given the design of both of our cars~no cup holder that DS can reach otherwise.

I am pleased with the design of the seat itself, and DS says it is comfortable~and also, as he gets older, the back does come off, which might be a plus later on down the road.
