This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Auto Mobile Mirror (Baby Product) We used to have the Rainforest version of this mirror, and LOVED it. It was accidentally broken, so I ordered this one to replace it. I have to say, I like this one better. They fixed what I didn't like about the Rainforest one--this one has a netting that supports the toy bar--the RF toy bar used to sag from lack of support, and I like the music better on this one. It helps tremendously during long car rides, but I even turn it on for quick jaunts to the store. Our 10 month old has loved it since he was born, and even our 3 year old daughter loves the music. 5 stars all around from this family. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Good Shopper (New York) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Auto Mobile Mirror (Baby Product) This mirror serves its purpose - I can see my baby in the rear-view mirror and he is kept entertained for a bit. However, it does have some flaws. For one thing, the parts that attach the mirror to the headrest are somewhat flimsy and it often falls below view or flops over to one side or another. Additionally, the music is loud, grating and repetitive after 5-10 minutes, even for my 4 1/2 month old, but unfortunately the shortest amount of time you can set it for is 20 minutes. It needs shorter time settings as well as volume control. I often just leave the music off and let the baby look at the animals. Ultimately, though, there aren't too many cute car safety mirrors out there so this one is just fine. 1 of 1 people found the following review helpful: By Awesome G "A G" (usa) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) This review is from: Fisher-Price Precious Planet Auto Mobile Mirror (Baby Product) This is not very stable in it's design, I had a similar one by Fisher-Price two years ago that was horizontal and I loved it. It was disappointing when I received this product and it was not as good. It shakes and shifts but I understand the concept of it being vertical it's just not better. |
