Comment: We got this seat for our 3rd child, after owning 2 Britax Marathons. I have a love/hate for this seat. On one hand, it has some great features. The way you tighten the belt is with two turning knobs at the base of the seat. It's so easy! That's really the best part. The fabric is nice and soft, it has a removable insert for a smaller baby that you can remove and also a head rest (more like a pillow) that's removable. It does have a cup holder, but I have yet to find a bottle or cup that actually stays in there- it's worthless. The installation is great for LATCH facing forward, but HORRIBLE to get in tight when rear facing. The LATCH only tightens on one side... no idea why, but it's crazy trying to get it tight enough while tightening on only one side! The thing I hate most (besides the difficult installation when rear facing) is the thin belt. They twist up CONSTANTLY and the buckles fall down and twist- it was a crazy mess every single time we put him in there! It's also very wide. When it's in our captain seat (we have a Toyota Sienna) the arm rests don't go down (they will with quite a struggle... but probably not worth it!) Overall, it's probably an okay seat if you want to avoid spending the extra 100.00 on the Britax. None of the things that bugged me were huge issues- just that they were things I noticed were bummers in comparison. I ended up buying another Britax Marathon in the end... now if only Britax made their belts tighen like the Triumph did, I'd be in heaven! Not a terrible seat, but not the best either.
