Although the description says "up to 47 inches", the shoulder strap slots are just barely high enough for my 41 inch tall son to sit safely in this seat.

Bought for my 30+ lbs. 2 year old for a 5 hour flight and to use in my mom's car after reading the following helpful review from travelswithbaby: The Titan Elite is an all-around great car seat for travel as well as for home use, and gives you perks you may pay $50 to $100 more for in other seats, particularly because it can be used for children up to 50 lbs. and 47" tall. While the Titan Elite isn't as lightweight as the Scenera or Comfortsport, this seat gives you a similarly narrow footprint with all the extras that make it the car seat you love to use everyday (not just as a backup or for travel). Like the Scenera, it has tall harness strap slots that accommodate a taller child than most other convertible seats (including the Comfortsport above), and claims to fit a child up to 47" tall. Love the seat, works great and is a nice match with the beige leather interior of the car. Our kiddo has tried multiple seats, and only with using this one we came to the conclusion that she was probably not comfortable in the other ones, and is in this one.

The cup holder is great; kiddo can get the sippy cup easily in and out. It is mounted a bit flimsy though ( works fine). However, y ou can only mount it in one position, while it should have been more forward. The extra little bucket for snacks is too far back, and can't be reached.

Bottom line: great value for a relatively low price.
