My wife picked this one out for the side-impact protection, plus our daughter had outgrown her other car seat. I like the new LATCH connectors. Very easy to hook and unhook. And the ratchet feature makes it a lot easier to tighten the seat. The only thing I don't like is the strap you use to tighten the harness. We have another car seat that tightens with a knob and releases with a lever on the side of the car seat. It is easy to access and operate. This car seat has a strap between the legs at the front that you have to somehow get the leverage to pull on to tighten the harness and a square button that you have to use to release it. I don't like this setup as well.

Well-padded and apparently quite comfortable.

Would it be too much to ask that car seat manufacturers put a carrying handle on their car seats? Carrying this thing through the airport is a pain. Even back-and-forth from the house to the car is a pain. This is a general complaint about ALL...Read more

I'm very picky on carseats. I have to feel that my baby is very safe like we all do. I definitely feel this way about this seat. I picked this one up at Toys R Us for $190 including tax (I had a coupon for $50 off). The latch system is so easy to install (about a 1 minute install) and you don't have to mess with the safety belts. Other people wrote that it did not install in their car using the latch system. I drive a 2009 Volkswagen Jetta and it works perfectly fine. Maybe it's a Honda thing? This seat was purchased for my 10 month old son (31" and 25lbs). I like this seat so much that I bought the Evenflo E3 Booster seat for my almost 4 year old daughter. Hope this helps.

4.0 out of 5 stars Installs in Seconds!, April 8, 2012

I bought this car seat for 2 reasons:
1) The SureLATCH system (LOVE, LOVE, LOVE)
2) The 25% off for trade in at Babies R Us plus additional discounts I had helped me to save over $80 on this carseat.

Pros:
1) Easy install.
What I LOVE LOVE LOVE about this car seat is that it literally installs in seconds (if you have a car that is 2003 or newer because they should all have those seat anchors). It took me probably all of 10 seconds to install-- if that. You just hook the SureLATCH onto the seat anchors of your car and push the car seat towards the back of your car's seat to tighten. Simple as that. Especially after installing my other "regular" car seat which took me forever and still was unable to get it to the point where it doesn't move/slide, this was just too easy. Britax has the latch system as well, but you still have to pull the straps to tighten. With this you don't pull any straps, just push the car seat in and that's it.

2) As they...Read more
