Summary: Do not buy this carseat 2007-01-07
Comment: This car seat was tested by Consumer Reports recently, and it was found to not even meet federal requirements which quite frankly aren't that stringent. In a 38 mph side crash, the seat was ripped from the base. The videos are horrifying.
I purchased this seat last year for my new baby and when I saw the test videos online this morning I knew immediately that this car seat is BAD NEWS. I went out today and bought a new seat and this one is going in the closet until a recall occurs or I can borrow a chainsaw to destroy it.

Summary: DO NOT BUY THIS!!! IT SHOULD BE RECALLED 2007-01-06
Comment: Please don't buy this seat or any Evenflo Discovery seat. Consumer Reports says this failed both of their tests and is suggesting it gets recalled. It even disconnected in a side impact! They are showing the video on their website. I am sickened to know we used this car seat.

Summary: Horrible 2006-11-28
Comment: My husband and I got this car seat for our son. This seat is horrible. When my son falls asleep, he ends up slouching over. You have to roll blankets or towels and stick them under the base to get it to tilt back enough. That doesn't always work either. Plus, to get the car seat into the base, you have to tilt the car seat forward to get it under the lip if the base making it impossible to get a sleeping baby back into the car without waking him up. The matching stroller is also bad. It does not fold well causing it to fill the back of our hatchback. The wheels also fall off...which seems to be a problem with other reviews I have read.
