Summary: Great car seat 2007-04-06
Comment: I bought this seat for my son after using a Triumph which was a pain to use. I love the tightening mechanism on this seat. It is easier to use than the one on the Triumph and our Graco Sport. My son seems to love this seat. Plus its padded well so it looks comfortable. My only problem is I'm not sure if its level enough.

Comment: I bought two of these for my 2 year old and 4 year old. Very easy to assemble. The only thing I don't like are the way the latches work in the front. They are a bit flimsy, but other than that, great chairs that work for a broad age range!

Summary: Great Seat, Great Value! 2007-02-27
Comment: I was a bit hesitant after reading the two reviews regarding the strap issue, but due to its high ratings on Consumer Reports and it's unbeatable price, I went ahead and purchased the Evenflo Chase DLX Booster Seat. What a pleasant surprise! My son, who just turned 2, was in need of a new car seat after his Britax Marathon seat was passed onto his 6-month old baby sister. I am usually of the opinion that you get what you pay for (think Britax, Maclaren, Peg Perego) but decided to give this lower-price point seat a try. Easy to install, the straps easy to adjust (unlike other reviewers, I have no issues with adjusting the straps) easy to get my son in and out of, easy to clean, AND my son LOVES this seat! The side compartments are awesome - one side holds his cup and/or juice box, and the other side compartment holds a snack, a few small toys and/or books. For an independent little toddler, this is heaven! He also has a great view out the window in this seat, and I love that it has the 5-point harness but can transition to lap belt usage in the future. This seat definitely exceeded all our expectations!

Summary: Do not buy!!!!!!!!!! 2007-02-18
Comment: Left strap is very difficult. It does not adjust like I thought it would. I ended up returning it because the center latch and the left adjuster would not go down enough and the chest lock was on my son's throat instead of chest. VERY dissapointed I would not reccomend this car seat for anyone. It looks nice and the pads are nice but do not be mislead.

Summary: quality seat but some strap issues 2007-01-04
Comment: This is a great seat but the tightening mechanism is difficult to use. It is only an issue during season changes when coat sizes change.
