Summary: This is for children 40lbs. or more. 2008-08-25
Comment: This seat is for children 40 lbs. or more, *NOT* 30 lbs. as stated in the product description on this page. The label on the seat states it is for kids 40 lbs. and 40 inches or more. Going by the Amazon description, I purchased it for my 37 lb. & 39" son for a trip to grandma's house and unfortunately discovered this problem while at the airport the first time we tried to use the seat. The shoulder belt ran across his neck. I bought a new booster seat with a back for him the next day. Seat construction and finish are fine.

Summary: Necessary and worth it 2008-08-21
Comment: Can't beat the price, can't beat the quality. Kids are comfortable. It's light enough to carry their own seat if necessary. Stores easily in the trunk so you can keep extras for carpools. Cupholder and little side bin aren't so sturdy, but you're not buying it for that, so it's no big deal. Remember the weight and height limits for your state and definitely continue to use a booster seat for your child until they hit those limits, not any age limit, for their own safety.

Summary: Minimum seat for Maximum kids 2008-07-20
Comment: The laws changed and my 75 pound 45 inch 7 year old who was out of a seat a year is back in a seat.
These are a good deal and non baby - she did not want to go back but has not been too put off by this subtle agreement to the current Massachusetts safety laws.
No complaints one month later.

Comment: Great value and the kids find it very comfortable. Drinks holder a little flimsy but very minor point as the kids don't use it anyway.

Summary: Maybe too small 2008-05-05
Comment: My daughter is just 41 pounds and for some reason, even when I use the seatbelt clip, the seatbelt does NOT sit flat against her shoulder in my odyssey. When she sits in my husband's FJ Cruister, in the middle seat, it does. I'm going to put it away for a few more years. I have already gotten the Graco high back and it is much better. Better support, and she can fall asleep still with the high back. I think I jumped too soon with the backless! It's ok, it was cheap enough!
