The only reason I gave this 4 stars is because (like others) I found this seat very large in the fully reclined position. I have a very spacious back seat in my Dodge Avenger and the front seats have to be slid forward for this seat to recline. We decided to purchase another seat for my husbands car, we went to Burlington Coat Factory and found a seat almost identical to this seat for less than 100 dollars and it fits better in his car. I do love this seat, I just wish it fit better in my car.

My son has been in this seat for almost three years now, and I am counting the minutes until he can be in a booster seat (he started in it at one year). Cons: the straps tangle incredibly easily and are difficult to pull longer (or shorten), the material stains very easily and is difficult to clean, it does not tilt upward or downward easily, and the cover is so difficult to get off when you want to thoroughly clean it that it basically is like performing surgery. Pros: it is safe enough, and my son has never complained that he was super uncomfortable. I would definitely go for another comparably-priced seat if you are in the market.

I just switched my son, 6 months old, to this car seat after he started to get a bit snug in our Infant Graco Snugride. I love this seat. From the first use, my son loves this seat. He feels like a "big boy" and has tons of room. The arm rests are perfect for attaching his car seat toys to. It's a feature that is hard to find in many seats. It is very sturdy, and easy to install. The height adjusts very easily, and the cushion is very plush, and the material is easy to clean. It also comes with attachable cup holders, which I'm sure will come in handy later. I still have it rear facing, so it does take up a bit of room, but no more than the Infant seat did. I think this is an excellent seat, and would recommend this seat to anyone!
