I bought this harness for my 1 year old because she was simply getting way too quick for me and my family. She is a very energetic child that loves to run and is starting to climb on everything. The only reason we were considering buying one is because she hates holding our hands and tries to sit down when we are walking and when she does get loose from our grip she runs as fast as she can from us. This product is easy to put on and off the child and the child can not get it off. The velcro is on the back so the kid can't reach to tear it off. The only precaution I can think of is if you aren't watching the child, they would go around you a couple of times and have you all bundled up in the leash.

Overall, this product is fantastic and affordable. I already got my moneys worth at the lake.

The people I ordered it from had a black one instead of the one displayed. Same product though.

We ordered this item to keep track of our toddler how now refused to be carried or put in the stroller. We took it out of the package and adjusted it to fit our toddler. We held the wrist strap and it immediately broke--even before he or the parent started moving. It appears that the handle portion of the item (that the parent holds) had been improperly sewn. As a result, that loop was not secured. We contacted Amazon and the offered us a refund, which we gladly took. We will not be purchasing this item again.

This harness says it will work on children within a specific size/weight, however, I find it is TOO SMALL. The quality is very good!! It is very sturdy, if you have a strong child or a child with Autism (or other disability), it is a great tool! But please check the sizing for the product
