I have two grandchildren ages 5 and 4. I had booster seats for them but I didn't like the way the seat belt went around their necks. So I decided to purchase a car seat that would hold the strap in place. This was easy to assemble and it held the seat belt lower so that the fear of them being choked by it is now resolved. They love the drink holder and cannot wait to go into Grammy's car. It does leave little room in between the back seats, but I purchased it for safety so it works.

For just a few bucks more, the Evenflo has armrests that can be put up. This is helpful if you have an independent child who insists on seating & belting themselves - those armrests can get in the way during the climbing process and make it harder for them to buckle the seatbelt. I didn't realize how important that was until I bought this booster.

On the plus side, this chair seems comfortable and well-proportioned. Quality is decent and cupholders are always useful.

I love this seat. I purposely bought this for my second child since we had one for my oldest. She has been using the seat for almost two years and it still looks and works great. I specifically like the way the headrest moves up easily as the child grows.
