Summary: Great Second Car Seat Base! 2008-11-24
Comment: This car seat base serves as a second car seat base for our little one. It sure makes life easier not having to remove the base along with the car seat. I couldn't find an additional car seat base at any store. I purchased a Safety 1st Travel System from Burlington Baby Depot. Finding this versatile car seat base was great. The seat works with Cosco, Safety 1st, Eddie Bauer, etc. I recommend to anyone with a two car family.

Comment: I bought this as an extra car base for my child's car seat. Since it is black it does not stick out as much when the baby is not in the car as the green one that came with the car seat.

Summary: Why buy two car seats? 2008-05-12
Comment: We have a Safety 1st Designer series car seat, not sure of the model number but it is light blue and gray plaid with hippos by the head rest. I really like this base. It is so convenient to have one in each vehicle rather than having to constantly move it back and forth. I actually like this one better than the one that came with the car seat because the LATCH straps are longer. Well worth the money.
