Comment: I bought this as an extra car base for my child's car seat. Since it is black it does not stick out as much when the baby is not in the car as the green one that came with the car seat.

Summary: Why buy two car seats? 2008-05-12
Comment: We have a Safety 1st Designer series car seat, not sure of the model number but it is light blue and gray plaid with hippos by the head rest. I really like this base. It is so convenient to have one in each vehicle rather than having to constantly move it back and forth. I actually like this one better than the one that came with the car seat because the LATCH straps are longer. Well worth the money.

Comment: it doesn't fit out eddie bauer car seat we bought from sears. We did however receive prompt response on making a return.

Summary: Safe and Easy to Use! 2005-10-10
Comment: This base makes it a lot easier to get your car seat in and out of the vehicle. No more strapping down the car seat every single time you travel. Now, just strap down the base and lock the car seat down. We have two of these bases, one for each vehicle.
