Summary: I hate it and I want my money back. 2007-04-08
Comment: I HATE this travel system. I'm only 5'5" and the stroller is still much too short for me. Every time I use it I'm constantly walking into the wheels. Also, every time I go over a bump the front wheels LOCK and I have to stop and go around to the front of the stroller to unlock them again. It drives me nuts!
The baby sits so low to the ground that the center of gravity on this thing is waaaay off, making it a nightmare to navigate over curbs.
oh, and the basket is utterly useless and I have no idea why it was even included as nothing fits in it.
If I could return this piece of garbage I would but it's much too late for that. I now must begin the humiliating process of begging my husband for a new stroller.

Summary: Lightweight and very portable 2006-11-06
Comment: I bought the Dk-5 because I found that all Combi products are lightweight and portable. DK-5 is superior than the Cosmo in terms of build quality and maneuverrability. The car seat is very well cushioned. The egg shock is a great add-on. The car seat, car seat base and the stroller snap in easily. You can attach/remove the car seat from the stroller/car seat base, in a matter of a few seconds.
Drawbacks:
The mesh basket is very small and we couldn't fit a normal diaper bag in it.Car seat is small in size compared to other car seats. Removing the infant seat will fit babies who are 4 months and older easily. Anyone who is taller than 5ft 7in will have problems maneuvering the stroller because their feet will frequently hit the wheels of the stroller. I wish this stroller came with a add-on snack tray.

Summary: Great Urban System 2006-04-12
Comment: I second all of Charmaine's thoughts below... it's just enough, I think. I don't know how Moms use those gargantuan strollers!
The carseat served us well for the past six and a half months... I am sad to lose the click-in-and-out of the car convenience, but he was getting awfully heavy to carry him in it anyway. The seat itself is one of the lightest I've found without feeling flimsy and is nicely padded with easy straps and buckles. The very clear seatbelt guides were a godsend when taking trips with another Mom in her car, or when we traveled and brought the seat along with the stroller, to use without the base. The only improvement I'd suggest is a cushier handle grip. But I fixed that with cork tape (the kind used on bicycle handlebars).
We're still enjoying the stroller. This is NOT a tall person's stroller! Telescoping handles would be a good improvement. But otherwise, it's nimble, folds/opens easily with one hand from the "Single fold" position. To lock and stand it, it needs a second fold which requires 2 hands. It's also nice and light, I can carry up and down stairs thanks to a nifty shoulder strap. The smaller profile allows you to navigate narrow store aisles, subway turnstiles, small cafes, and the like. Practically no basket space, but I find I don't use that anyway. I'm either out for a quickie in which case I don't carry anyhting, or for a longer outing I bring my diaper bag. When my boy was tiny, I didn't install the seat fabric and canopy right away and just used the frame of the stroller as a lighter and better version of the Snap-N-Go, which worked great. Overall a good system!

Summary: So light weight and compact 2005-09-13
Comment: I love how light weight it is. The carier and stroller both are very light weight but sturdy. The stroller is very compact and easy to fit in my limited space trunk. We love the ruby color. The only thing I wished it had is an extendable handle. My feet would hit the wheel while walking directly behind the stoller if I wasn't paying attention. It is very easy to steer so I could walk very comfortably beside it. Other than the desire for and exendable handle we absolutely love the Combi DK5 Travel System, and the baby seems to like too.
