Summary: Very impressed with this booster seat 2007-12-27
Comment: I am so impressed with this Booster seat! We used a car seat for as long as possible due to the safety aspects of the 5 point harness but when we needed a booster - we looked to Britax due to their safety record!
This is a great seat - very roomy - though I suspect if your child is somewhat on the broad side, they may find this a squeeze - with an adjustable headrest giving lots of room therefore lots of life in this seat!
It has side impact protection which is so important and deep head protection wings with EPS foam to help protect your child in the event of an accident....and as an added bonus this is comfy and offers a child a way to rest their head..our little one - who long ago gave up napping in a car...suddenly started falling asleep on car rides as she has a cozy way to rest her head - and a safe one to boot!
It also has belt guides which helps you get it right in terms of positioning the belts and keeps them from slipping!!
The seat not only looks great..it is super soft plush which feels good for your child too - plus it is washable - always a good feature!
There are 2 little snack / drink trays on the seat - one on each side...that fold away rather than those annoying ones that clip on then fall off...they are rather shallow and do not hold a cup so well..but quite frankly, I am more interested in safety than where to store a cup and they are great for snacks..plus I like the fact that they fold right into the seat which is why they need to be shallow!!
A great purchase and one I would highly recommend!!

Summary: I Love this booster!!! 2007-10-04
Comment: I purchased this booster seat because I know Britax is a good company for carseats and I needed another one for my son because I drop him off and his Grandmother picks him up from Kindergarten. I received it yesterday and I'm so happy with it! My son LOVES the design and how comfortable it is (he calls it his Cowseat not Carseat, lol). He's had his old carseat, the Alpha Omega, since I was pregnant with him and we're still using it for his grandmother's car but this seat is so much better (as a booster).
First off, the belt fits to your child. Something the other seat doesn't. The seat does NOT roll around in the car if the shoulder belt is in it's cradle. We've got some sharp turns here and it hasn't even moved and the seat belt was not locked nor was my child in it at the time.
The seat adjustment is SO much easier than the Alpha Omega. All you do is push down and pull up. Simple. I love this booster seat! (Have I mentioned that already?? ;))
I purchased this booster from BabyUniverse through Amazon. The booster came 3 business days after I ordered it. Fast shipping! This is great because I needed it ASAP.
I'm recommending this booster to everyone with older children. (Especially the cow design!)

Comment: we like the car seat, but although my son is almost four years old, he kept letting himself out of the seat, while we were driving, so back to his baby car seat he went!I think I may have stuck with a three point harness instead. Not so easy to escape from, and a little safer as well. The velvet also dirtys very easily.

Comment: We purchased the Birtax booster seat because we purchased two car Britax seats and were very happy with the quality. We assumed that the booster would be higher quality than competitors, but it's not. It's not worse, but not better either. A disappointment after really appreciating the quality of the car seats.
