The BRITAX BOULEVARD 70 CS convertible car seat is designed for children rear facing from 5 to 40 pounds and forward facing from 1 year and 20 pounds up to 70 pounds. The BOULEVARD 70 CS achieves revolutionary head safety through the use of BRITAX SafeCell Technology, integrated steel bars, and Versa-Tether that work together to minimize head excursion and reduce the risk of head injury during a frontal impact. The BOULEVARD 70 CS also incorporates BRITAX True Side Impact Protection, a Click & Safe Snug Harness Indicator, and HUGS. An easy access cover and access to belt paths from the front of the seat make it easier to install. It is also equipped with a five-point, no-rethread and quick-adjust harness, multiple buckle and recline adjustments, and a body pillow for comfort.

True Side Impact Protection offers an extra layer of EPP foam, keeping the head, neck and spine aligned, and deep side walls lined with EPP foam to distribute crash forces, shield from vehicle intrusion, and contain the head, neck and body

After talking with several moms, I was told that Britax was the #1 carset to buy for safety. I thoroughly researched the carseats that Britax makes and felt that this would be the best fit for our needs. My son seems to enjoy his new carseat and car seat is quality built. Very happy with the product; will be ordering another one in a couple weeks!

very great car seat. Sooo sturdy and tight, Doesnt move at all. I feel very safe putting my 9 month old in it rear facing and I love that it goes up to 70lbs front facing! The pattern is good for a boy or a girl, I love it. You really can not go wrong buying a britax car seat. Ive been happy with this seat, also it is really easy to tighten the straps where as some other seats ive had a lot of trouble with that rear facing. Great great seat!

Hope I never have to find out if it works. It was fairly easy to install, 10 month old baby loves it. Great material, solid and safe feeling, easy to clean. Steel re-inforced frame, lots of options for connecting to vehicle. Same ones sold at Baby retail stores for much more money. Amazon has a good deal when I purchased it.
