As a parent of 2 kids who are off the chart (100% +) in height, car seats are always a struggle. And I'm sorry to say this, but the people who are constantly wagging their fingers at those of us who move their kids to the next size up in seat too early have NO idea what it's like to try and cram a tall kid into the "appropriate" seat. Anyway, my 2 year old daughter was 3 inches taller than the max height recommendation for her old 5-point front facing seat, so I had to move her into a booster. She was tall enough for it, but wiggled around so much that I was concerned about the effectiveness of the belts. I started looking for some kind of belt adjuster, and was concerned with some of the reviewers points about not using ones that pulled the lap belt up--possibly causing abdominal injury during an accident. The Brica belt adjuster is great and it definately does NOT pull the lap belt up. It holds it in place, and slightly lowers the shoulder belt to the appropriate height. It...Read more

I am replacing an older seatbelt adjuster that was floppy and eventually wore out. This one is stiff and retains its shape. It is comfortable and slides easily when the seatbelt is being pulled through it. Just what I was hoping for. Great for adults as well as children.

Brica Seat Belt Adjuster, GrayThis seat belt adjuster works wonderfully well for short people, of which I am one, and I wouldn't be without it! I purchased another one just to have in my husband's car, too. I have had different ones in the past, and have left them in rental cars!!! So I guess I should get a couple spares, too--they really help keep that seatbelt from cutting into your neck. So they are not just for kids!!!
