Summary: Just Buy It! 2008-01-30
Comment: This is sooo much more sturdy/tight than the flex-lock. We have both, rigid-latch and the flex-lock. I'd spend the extra money again; the rigid-latch is tighter, easier to take in/out. There is no question about which one is more secure. Definitely get this if you are debating. The car seat is exactly the same in either and we really like it."
