This was my first car seat ever purchased. I purchased it for $99.99 from Babies R Us and I couldn't wait to get rid of it. I hated it. The clips for the seat belts felt almost impossible and that alone drove me crazy, I also didn't like that the infant never seemed reclined, the baby was sitting up and that doesn't work for a newborn. I had it place in the middle seat of the car and will admit that might have been the cause. I hated dealing with the seatbelts so much that I changed it as soon as the baby reached 20 pounds. Unfortunately, I'm having my second child and the double stroller I preferred can only be paired with this car seat, so here I go again.

First off, I want to add that this is the 12th car seat I have purchased over the past 7 years, for 3 kids, 2 cars, and a grandparent's car. I have a lot of experience with car seats and installation. I am not an amateur! First off, I purchased this car seat for the sole purpose of being able to fit 3 car seats across the middle row of my 2006 Honda Odyssey. Honda does indeed allow for a car seat to be installed in the middle ("plus-one") seat, as long as the car seat properly fits. I read online that this is the only infant car seat that will fit because it has a narrow base. This narrow base is both a blessing and a curse. I had this car seat properly installed by a SafeKids technician who also enlisted the help of a SafeKids certified fireman. I was informed that if you are NOT using a latch installation, this base is NEARLY impossible to install. We own 2 of these infant seats for our 3 month old twins. Like all other products it has it is pros & cons and here is my list for them:
Pros:
1. LOVE the triangle handle! Especially when carrying 2 of these plus a huge diaper bag while trying to get my 2 older kids (ages 4 & 5) the handle is easy to grip no matter how you grab it.
2. It is light weight. Not sure where the other reviewer got her info (the shipping weight is 20 lbs but that includes a ton of padding and the base. I weighed mine without babies on the scale and it was 10.8 lbs. When I was pregnant I went to 3 baby stores looking at carseats. I picked the lightest one I could find that was under $250.
3. I have no problems at all with attaching them to the grocery carts (that includes the giant ones at Sam's Club to the tiny ones at Walgreens) or strollers. Also I love the Baby Trend double snap and go stroller. They also fits into the Baby Trend Navigator double jogging stroller very well!
